Coyne's & Company Inc. is recalling approximately 14,000 Casper the Friendly Ghost® Halloween Mini-Figurines. The recall is due to high levels of lead in the paint on the resin and paper figures. The figurines are three inches tall and were sold in mini bags decorated with a spider and web design between June 2005 and September 2008. They were sold at gift, specialty, card, and drug stores nationwide for between $1 and $3.

The recalled figurines depict characters including Dracula, Skeleton, Devil, Mummy, Casper®, and Wendy the Witch®. Each character is in a specific colored bag: Dracula in red, Skeleton in green, Devil in purple, Mummy in orange, Casper® in blue, and Wendy the Witch® in yellow. The bags are stamped with TM & ©Harvey Ent. and have a white sticker on the bottom printed with "Coyne's & Company" and "CP1030".
