Hanashop is recalling approximately 180 counterfeit 2-foot, three-outlet power cords sold exclusively on eBay. The orange power cords were packaged in counterfeit yellow and green cardboard sleeves labeled as "12 Gauge Extra Heavy Duty" with model number T-4145. The cords were sold nationwide from November 2006 through April 2008 for between $2 and $5.

The recall was issued because the power cord wires are significantly undersized and allow incorrect insertion of the power plug, posing a risk of fire and/or shock to consumers. No injuries have been reported in connection with the recalled product.
