The model numbers UAH-3646-120, UAH-4979-120, and UAH-7999-120 are printed on a label on the underside of the rug warmer.

The recall is due to a fire hazard. The rug warmer's cord can come loose from the plug, which can cause sparks or flames. WarmlyYours has received two reports of incidents involving the product. In one incident, electrical sparks came from the cord when it was pulled out. In the other, the cord caught fire and left burn marks on the area rug and floor. No injuries have been reported.

The rug warmers were sold for between $200 and $600 at WarmlyYours retail stores, flooring stores nationwide, and various online retailers including Warmly Yours.com, heatedcarpetsnthings.com, builderdepot.com, kitchensource.com, atrendyhome.com, and zearth.com. The products were manufactured in China and Canada.

Consumers should stop using the rug warmer immediately and unplug it. They should return the cord to WarmlyYours using the pre-paid shipping labels provided by the firm to receive a full refund or a replacement product.
