The recalled products consist of a teacup-shaped ceramic warmer with an opening for a tea light candle and four vanilla-scented wax cubes. Candles are not included in the set. The warmers were sold in cream with gold trim or green with gold trim.
The recall was initiated after Family Dollar received 11 reports of the warmers producing high flames. These reports include two instances of burn injuries and three instances of property damage. The products were sold at Family Dollar stores nationwide from April 2015 through September 2015 for $4. The warmers were manufactured in China.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled wax warmers. They can return the products to any Family Dollar store location for a full refund.
