The toys are white standing horses, about 9 inches tall, with pink or lavender hooves and colored ribbons mixed into the mane and tail. The recall was initiated after the firm's testing detected that beads of glitter glue on the colored ribbons could detach. These detached beads pose an aspiration hazard to young children.

The recalled toys were sold at specialty toy and gift stores nationwide between July 2005 and August 2005 for approximately $9. The toys were manufactured in China. No injuries have been reported in connection with this defect.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys away from children. To receive a replacement product, consumers should return the horse to Douglas Company.
