The heaters were sold for about $33 as QVC Item No. V19768. Affected units have a date code on the bottom beginning with "33xx" through "39xx".
The recall is due to improperly crimped wires that can result in overheating, creating a potential thermal burn or fire hazard. The company is aware of 19 reports of heaters overheating, melting, or charring along the bottom, including 13 reports of minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.
