The model number is printed on the starter housing, and the serial number is inscribed on the surface of the housing next to and above the bumper spikes.

No injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall. Consumers should stop using the recalled chain saws immediately. Authorized Stihl dealers will replace all fuel tank vents at no cost.
