The recalled ramps are black, measure 39 inches long by 28 inches wide, and have a height of up to 12 inches. They feature a sticker with the Rage or Skate Attack logo on each side and have four peg holes on the underside for anchoring.

The recall was issued because the ramps can crack, which may cause users to fall and suffer injuries. Gen-X Sports has received one report of a ramp cracking. In that incident, a user riding a scooter fell and broke their collarbone.

The ramps were sold nationwide at discount department and sports stores from March 2002 through September 2002 for between $20 and $40. Consumers should stop using these ramps immediately and contact Gen-X Sports toll-free at (866) 846-4369 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday to receive a refund.
