The chairs can collapse, posing crush and amputation hazards to consumers' fingers and toes. CPSC and Intercon are aware of one incident in which the tip of a 3-year-old girl's finger was amputated when the chair collapsed.

Consumers should stop using these mini beach chairs immediately and contact Intercon at (800) 634-0469 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST Monday through Friday for a free repair.
