NHTSA recalls of passenger vehicles, motorcycles, tires, and child seats.
Vehicle recalls in our database all come from NHTSA. They cover passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, tires, child safety seats, and motor-vehicle equipment. Each campaign is identified by an NHTSA Campaign Number (a string like 25V123000) and lists every make / model / year combination affected. We carry the full vehicle range so you can search by your own car.
The most common vehicle-recall categories are airbag and seatbelt failures (the consequence is non-deployment in a crash), fuel system defects with fire risk, steering or brake malfunctions, electrical defects in EVs that can cause battery thermal events, software bugs in driver-assist systems, and child-seat harness failures. Recalls for tires almost always relate to a tread-separation risk in a defined production date range.
Every NHTSA recall is mandatory for the manufacturer to remedy at no charge to the owner, with no expiration. If your vehicle has an open recall, your dealer is required to perform the remedy free of charge as long as the vehicle exists. If you're not sure whether your vehicle is affected, the VIN lookup decodes your specific vehicle and cross-references the NHTSA database directly.

Jaguar Land Rover is recalling 2020–2025 Range Rover Evoque vehicles because the passenger air bag may tear during deployment, reducing occupant protection and risking burn injury from escaping gases.
Kawasaki is recalling certain 2024–2025 Ninja ZX-6R motorcycles because the engine may lose power during operation due to crankshaft bushing seizure, increasing crash risk.
Ford is recalling certain 2021–2023 Ford and Lincoln vehicles because the low-pressure fuel pump may fail, causing engine stalls while driving and increasing crash risk.
Polestar is recalling certain 2025 Polestar 3 vehicles because water may damage electrical connectors between the engine bay and front bumper, which can cause loss of power steering assist and increase crash risk.
Autocar is recalling certain 2015-2022 Xspotter and Xpeditor vehicles with insufficient air in their brake system tanks. The defect can reduce brake function and increase stopping distance.
Certain 2021 and 2024 Polestar 2 vehicles may lose brake function while coasting downhill and using One Pedal Drive mode. Polestar will provide a free over-the-air software update to fix the control module defect.
