These items were shipped to retail locations in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas, California, Illinois, Iowa, and South Carolina, and some were available for mail order.

CDC, FDA, and public health officials are investigating a multistate outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to onions produced by Thomson International, Inc. There have been no confirmed reports of illness due to consumption of the FSIS-regulated products containing these onions. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them and should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
