These items were produced between April 30, 2014, and April 30, 2015, and bear the establishment number EST. 5867-A inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The recall was initiated after an FSIS inspector discovered that the establishment applied canola oil spray, a release agent containing soy lecithin, to the interior of their tubs. Soy lecithin is a known allergen that was not declared on the product labels. The products were shipped to distributors, retailers, and consumers nationwide.
FSIS and the company have received no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
