The recall was initiated after the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) reviewed testing results that showed the product tested positive for L. monocytogenes. The items were shipped to retail locations nationwide. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
