Newell Coach Corp. is recalling certain 2022 P50 coaches due to a defect in the pedestal mounting plate. The plate may have been improperly welded, which can cause it to separate and allow the seat assembly to loosen or detach. This condition causes the seat assemblies to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) 207 and 210.

A loose or detached seat assembly may not restrain the occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Newell will inspect for a missing weld and replace the pedestal seat as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 2, 2025. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.
