Wiring without adequate circuit protection can become damaged and short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire in the vehicle.
Approximately 1,167 units are affected. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2025. Owners should contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100 to schedule the remedy. Dealers will rewire the solar controller power wire free of charge. Owners may also contact the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 or visit www.safercar.gov for more information.
