Pure Sports Distributing is recalling certain 2021-2025 Yamaha MT-09, MT-10 and XSR900 motorcycles because throttle position sensor brushes may slide excessively, causing unstable idling or an engine stall.
What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 4 covers structural vehicle defects: the source states an engine stall can lead to loss of control of the motorcycle, and the remedy includes replacing the sensor hardware.
