McLaren brake lines may be routed to the wrong side
McLaren is recalling certain 2020-2025 vehicles because brake lines may be routed incorrectly, activating the brakes on the wrong side and possibly locking a rear wheel.
What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: Misrouted brake lines that can lock a rear wheel and cause loss of control are a structural vehicle defect, which the rubric places at Severe.
