When rear brake function is lost, the risk of a crash increases significantly. A total of 192 vehicles are affected by this defect.

Owners should contact BMW customer service at 800-525-7417 to arrange a service appointment. Dealers will replace the rear brake hoses at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 9, 2025.
