Autocar Recalls 2023 Xpeditor and Xspotter Vehicles for Steering Defect

Autocar, LLC is recalling certain 2023 ACX (Xpeditor) and ACTT (Xspotter) vehicles. The recall involves 37 vehicles where the steering gear assemblies may have been assembled incorrectly with fewer recirculating balls than are required. This defect may result in a loss of steering control, which increases the risk of a crash.
Dealers will inspect and replace the steering gears as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 4, 2024. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's numbers for this recall are ACX-2401 and ACTT-2401.
