The recall addresses a defect in the Federal certification label, which incorrectly states that the vehicle has 6 belted seating positions when it actually has only 4. This error causes the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120.
The incorrect information regarding belted seating positions may result in passengers riding without seatbelts, which increases the risk of injury in the event of a crash. The recall covers 36 affected vehicles.
