The recall affects 3,285 vehicles that were sold or registered in Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The defect involves the zinc plating on the fuel return line, which may break away when contacted by road debris. This exposure can cause two dissimilar metals on the fuel line to contact each other and corrode. A corroded fuel line can leak fuel, which increases the risk of a fire.
