The rubric designates structural vehicle defects as Severe (score 4), and the hazard is not theoretical—it is a known, specific defect with documented potential for serious injury.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2022 RAM pickup trucks and cab chassis vehicles (Models 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500) equipped with Cummins 6.7L Turbo Diesel engines. Approximately 131,177 vehicles are affected.
An electrical short in the Solid State Intake Heater Grid Relay may cause a vehicle fire whether the ignition is on or off. Vehicle fires increase the risk of injury.
As a precaution, owners are instructed to park these vehicles outside buildings and structures, and away from other vehicles, until repairs are completed. Dealers will inspect the Relay and replace it if necessary. If related recall FCA Y08 (NHTSA 21V-163) remains open, insulating material will be applied to the Relay after inspection.
