Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2021–2022 Puma travel trailers. The black wastewater-holding tank may be missing its ventilation pipe.
Without proper ventilation, methane gas can build up inside the tank. If an ignition source is present, this gas accumulation increases the risk of fire.
Forest River is notifying owners and dealers will properly vent the black wastewater-holding tank at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 22, 2021.
