Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. is recalling certain 2018-2022 Tiffin Wayfarer recreational vehicles. The rear-center holding tank water pan bolts may pull through the lip of the pan due to their design, allowing the water tank to drop down onto the exhaust pipe.

When the tank falls onto the exhaust pipe, it affects the vehicle's stability and increases the risk of a crash. This is a structural defect in how the holding tank is secured to the vehicle.

Owners may contact Tiffin customer services at 1-256-356-8661 with any questions about the recall (Tiffin recall number WAY-102). Dealers will inspect the holding tank mounting system and replace any damaged holding pans. Metal straps and a washer plate will be installed to prevent the bolts from pulling through. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 29, 2021.
