Spartan Fire, LLC is recalling certain 2009-2021 Gladiator and Metrostar emergency vehicles. The recall addresses a defect in the fire water pump solenoid, which may corrode internally. This corrosion can cause a loss of power to the pump control module.
A loss of power to the pump control module can result in a loss of water pressure for fighting fires, which increases the risk of injury. The affected vehicles are the Spartan Fire Metrostar and Gladiator models from model years 2009 through 2021.
