Toyota Recalls 2015-2017 Yaris Vehicles for Air Bag Wire Harness Defect

This condition may cause the front seat side air bags and the curtain shield air bags to not deploy or to deploy improperly in the event of a crash. If these air bags do not deploy as intended, the risk of injury to occupants may increase.
Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will replace the wire harness assembly in the front doors, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on June 7, 2019.
