These inflators do not contain phase stabilized ammonium nitrate (PSAN) propellant. Takata will work with vehicle manufacturers to determine which vehicles had the affected inflators installed as original or replacement equipment. As this work progresses, numerous vehicle recalls will likely be announced by the impacted vehicle manufacturers. The recall began on November 19, 2019.
