Starcraft RV is recalling certain 2019 Starcraft Telluride fifth-wheel recreational trailers. The recall addresses a defect where the strap that secures the liquid propane (LP) gas bottle may separate from its buckle, failing to secure the propane tank.

An unsecured propane tank could detach from the trailer, which increases the risk of a crash. Additionally, a detached tank could leak propane, increasing the risk of a fire.

Starcraft will notify owners, and dealers will replace the propane tank securing strap with a new strap that has the correct crimping, free of charge. The recall began on July 27, 2018.
