The wall mounting bracket on these seats may crack. If this occurs, the seat may not remain secured in place during a crash, which increases the risk of injury to the occupant.
DTNA will notify owners, and dealers will install an additional wall mounting bracket free of charge. Daimler issued an interim notification to owners on June 15, 2018, and the recall began on January 3, 2019.
