Additionally, the label inside the helmet may be incorrect, failing to list the actual manufacturer and model. As a result, these helmets fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 218, "Motorcycle Helmets."
A helmet that does not adequately protect the wearer from an impact can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash. Badass will notify owners and replace the defective helmets free of charge. The recall began on September 7, 2018.
