Tiny Idahomes Recalls RVs and Trailers with Incorrect Weight Labels

Tiny Idahomes LLC is recalling certain 2014-2017 Tiny Idahomes and 2017 Rugged Mountain Custom RV recreational vehicles and cargo trailers. The affected models include the Clear Creek, Cascade, Sejour, Carpathian, Cargo Trailer, Zamora Vardo, Yala Peak, Grand Teton, Lincoln Peak, Chinook Peak, Castle Peak, Drive Stream, and Mt. Hood.
The Federal Placard on these vehicles may indicate an incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). This labeling error causes the vehicles to fail to comply with 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification." An incorrect GVWR label can cause user confusion and improper loading of the vehicle, which may increase the risk of a crash.
Tiny Idahomes/Rugged Mountain Custom RV will mail corrected labels to owners. Owners can affix the corrected label themselves or contact their dealer to have the Federal Placard replaced free of charge. The recall began on September 11, 2017.
