The defect involves propane fuel lines that may rub against each other or are crossed and secured together. This condition can result in line damage and a propane fuel leak. A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of a fire.
Blue Bird will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and reroute any Gen 3 propane lines that are not parallel. If damaged, the fuel line(s) will be replaced. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on August 15, 2016.
