Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Igniter vehicles manufactured between January 1, 2014, and May 2, 2016. The recall affects vehicles equipped with specific Class 1 ES-KEY power control modules manufactured by Hale Products.
The affected power control modules may not provide sufficient circuit protection depending on their software and installation combination. This defect can result in a short circuit, which may damage components of the vehicle's electrical system. Such damage could cause a loss of headlights, increasing the risk of a crash, or increase the risk of a fire.
