If this occurs, the fan gear can disengage from the steps, preventing them from remaining in the expected position and making them unstable. This condition increases the risk of injury during entry and exit.

Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will install a retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism free of charge. The recall began on February 17, 2016.
