Pirelli Tire LLC is recalling certain P Zero Trofeo tires in sizes 225/50ZR15 91Y and 245/45ZR16 94Y. The affected tires were manufactured between March 21, 2015, and April 7, 2015. These tires may not be marked with a date code, which fails to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 139.
A missing date code could make it difficult to identify the tire if a safety-related issue occurs, potentially preventing the tire from being removed from service. This situation increases the risk of a crash.
