Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Vengeance vehicles manufactured between December 20, 2013, and November 3, 2014. The recall involves 190 vehicles where the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) is less than the vehicle's actual GVWR represented on its certification label. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
The incorrect labeling may confuse customers regarding the vehicle's actual GVWR and load-carrying capacity. Misinformation about load capacity can lead to vehicle overloading, which can cause a tire failure and crash.
