Vactor Manufacturing is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Vactor HXX PD, HXX Fan, HXX Prodigy, and 2100 Plus trucks, as well as Guzzler Guzzcavator trucks. These vehicles were manufactured between January 10, 2014, and June 2, 2015. The recall involves 387 units.
The affected vacuum trucks have boilers that may have been assembled with incorrect hardware and/or improper tightening procedures. If the boiler assembly was not correctly mounted, the cabinet and boiler may detach from the truck, increasing the risk of a crash.
