Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Sabre travel trailers and fifth wheels manufactured between August 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014. The recall involves a defect in the electrical system where the wires that control the brakes may have been improperly routed. This improper routing can result in the wires chaffing, breaking, or shorting.
Damage to these brake control wires may unexpectedly lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash. Additionally, a short in the wires may increase the risk of a fire.
