Dakota Trailer Manufacturing, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2014 Air Ride Grain aggregate trailers and Air Ride side dump trailers. The affected vehicles were manufactured between October 2013 and January 2014 for the Grain models, and between December 2013 and December 2014 for the Side Dump models. These trailers are equipped with specific SAF-Holland-brand CBX Trailer Suspension Air Ride Axle Systems.
The recall is due to a defect in the trailer suspensions where pivot bolts may fail. If these bolts fail, the suspension and attached axle could separate from the trailer, which increases the risk of a crash.

Dealers or SAF-Holland-approved repair shops will replace the defective pivot bolts with new ones free of charge.
