Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2011 GT GulfTran shuttle buses manufactured between August 31, 2009, and October 22, 2010. The recall affects vehicles equipped with A&M Systems door actuators containing model 3230 circuit boards.

Voltage spikes may damage the electrical components and circuits of the door actuator, causing the circuit board to develop high resistance. This high resistance may cause the board to overheat, which increases the risk of a fire.

Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. will notify owners and replace the affected circuit boards free of charge. The recall began on March 26, 2014. Owners may contact Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. at 1-800-289-8787 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
