These switches are used in PTO assemblies installed on 2009-2014 Ford F350, F450, or F550 Super Duty chassis equipped with a 6.8L gasoline engine.

The defect involves the pressure switches potentially leaking oil. This leaking oil may soak into the thermal blanket covering the exhaust system. When combined with heat from the exhaust, this condition may result in an increased risk of fire.
