Plain-English summary
Keystone RV Company is recalling certain model 2013 Springdale 266RLSSR and 267BHSSR Travel Trailers manufactured between November 19, 2012, and February 5, 2013. The recall involves 37 vehicles that were manufactured with incorrect information on the Federal Identification Tag and Tire and Loading Information Label.
The tire inflation pressure is incorrectly listed as 448 KPA (65 PSI) instead of the correct 345 KPA (50 PSI). This error causes the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 120. Owners who rely on the incorrect label may overinflate the tires, which could result in sudden tire failure and increase the risk of a crash.
The recall began on February 27, 2013. Keystone will notify owners and provide corrected labels. Owners may contact Keystone RV Company at 1-866-425-4369 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
