What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a propane gas leak that could result in fire or explosion, causing property damage and personal injury, which aligns with the rubric criteria for significant injury/property-damage reports.

Plain-English summary

Crossroads RV is recalling certain model year 2011 Zinger and Sunset Trail trailers manufactured between August 15, 2010, and September 29, 2010. These vehicles are equipped with Atwood 35 Series range ovens. The recall addresses a potential small fracture within the line delivering gas to the oven cavity burner, which may cause propane gas to leak.

A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire and/or explosion, causing property damage and/or personal injury. All affected vehicles are currently contained at Crossroads' dealerships, so an owner notification letter will not be issued for this campaign.

Owners may contact Atwood at 1-574-266-4749 or Crossroads at 1-888-226-7496. Crossroads is working with Atwood to replace or repair the stoves free of charge. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit safercar.gov.
