The recall is due to a defect where the spring clip within the circuit breaker can break. If this occurs, it can result in a loose connection between the breaker and the stab. Siemens is working with RV manufacturers to identify and notify owners who may have the affected circuit breakers installed in their vehicles. The affected circuit breakers will be replaced free of charge. The safety recall began on September 7, 2010.
