The recalled products include various configurations of Simple Truth Natural Cage Free Grain Fed eggs distributed by The Kroger Co., as well as bulk Grade A CFB Large Eggs distributed by MPS Egg Farms.
The affected eggs were distributed in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Consumers should look for cartons with codes P-1950 or 0840962, a Julian Date between 157 and 184, and a Best By or Sell By date between July 20 and August 17, 2026. The code information is printed on the left or right sides of the carton.
Consumers who have purchased these eggs should stop using them and return them to the place of purchase for a refund or dispose of them. The FDA advises that Salmonella can cause serious illness, particularly in young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems.
