A small number of individual cones with peanut pieces were mistakenly packed into some cartons of the Salted Caramel Sundae, which is not supposed to contain peanuts. This poses an allergic risk to consumers with peanut allergies who might unknowingly consume the product.
Approximately 5,471 cases (6 cartons per case) were distributed to stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin. The affected product has a best-if-used-by date of June 15, 2023.
Consumers with peanut allergies should not consume this product. They should dispose of it or return it to the retailer for a refund. Consumers without peanut allergies may safely consume the product.
