During processing of certain organic vegetable loads, an incorrect chemical—foam detergent—was added to the wash systems. This error resulted in excessive foaming and potential residue on the produce.
The affected salad blends were distributed to 12 U.S. states: Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia. A total of 6,451 cases are affected.
Consumers should not consume products with codes N33011A or N33011B. The same product is also sold under the Peak Harvest label by Lidl stores.
