Further investigation determined that the same type of metal filament was found in the raw material (dehydrated minced onion) used in the manufacture of Sofrito Cilantro 32 oz and other products, including the recalled Sofrito con Albahaca.
The product was distributed in Puerto Rico. Consumers who have purchased the recalled product should stop using it and return it to the place of purchase for a refund or contact the firm for further instructions.
