The recall involves model number GTF7530 with UPC Code 810002862779. The ovens are stainless steel and feature two spring-loaded glass front French doors with metal handles. The model number and codes 3021 to 0126 are located on a label on the back of the unit.

The recall is being issued because the oven doors can unexpectedly close when bumped, posing a burn hazard to consumers retrieving hot food. Gourmia has received 57 reports of the doors closing unexpectedly, resulting in 40 incidents of burns to consumer hands or wrists. No deaths were reported.

The ovens were sold at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com from October 2021 through June 2026 for about $150. Consumers should stop using the recalled ovens immediately and contact Gourmia for a free repair kit by mail. The repair kit includes an added doorstop and installation instructions.
