The kits contain hazardous substances, specifically methanol and ethylene glycol, which violates the Federal Hazardous Substances Act for products intended for children under 12. There have been 18 reports worldwide, including one in the United States, of skin irritation, swollen lymph nodes, and a strong paint odor.
